The BAND-IT AE4369 all-purpose band is an 82-1/2-ft. roll of 316 stainless steel strapping that has a thermoplastic powder coating and imprinted measurement marks and that can be cut into straps to bundle materials to a pallet or platform for shipping, or to secure other items such as cables or wires. This banding is made of 316 stainless steel, also known as marine-grade stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, pitting, chloride, and corrosion. The thermoplastic powder coating is resistant to weather, corrosion, abrasions, and ultraviolet rays, and its smooth surface is unlikely to scratch or mar the load. The coating is halogen-free to reduce toxic gas emissions in the case of a fire. Imprinted measurement marks help the user determine the precise amount of strapping needed. The 0.048" thickness is thin enough to allow the strapping to be bent snugly around the load or object. The strapping measures 82-1/2 ft. long, 3/4" wide, and 0.048" thick, weighs 5.3 lb., and has an average breaking strength of 1,000 lb.
