    Description

This is a playbill for the week beginning September 23, 1957, Tony Award winning production of My Fair Lady, with Julie Andrews and Edward Mulhare, standing in for Rex Harrison (who was on vacation that week). Mr. Mulhare went on to permanently replace Mr. Harrison for the duration of the Broadway run when Mr. Harrison left to work on a movie.
This is the last issue of Playbill which didn’t include a volume and issue number. The following week (September 30, 1957) marked the transformation in the format of the magazine.
    The playbill measures approximately 9 1/4” x 6”.
