Your Cosmelan Depigmentation Treatment Pack Contains:
I. Degreasing Solution : Cleanses and exfoliates the skin before the application of the Cosmelan 1 Treatment Mask.
II. Cosmelan 1 Mask : Peeling mask that needs to be applied and left on the area between 8-12 hours depending on the prior skin assessment.
III. Cosmelan 2 Maintenance Cream : It continues the work of the mask by preventing the synthesis of melanin for prolonged periods of time.
IV. Hydra-Vital Factor K : Provides protection and regeneration of the hydrolipidic mantle, which is the natural protective and lubricating layer of the skin.
V. Melan 130+ : Sun protection
Active Ingredients:
I. Degreasing Solution: Aqua, Acetone
II. Cosmelan 1: Azelaic Acid, Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid, Arbutine, Titanium Dioxide
III. Cosmelan 2 Maintenance: Titanium Dioxide, Kojic Acid, Phytic Acid, Ascorbic Acid
V. Hydra Vital K Cream: Hydroviton, Vitamin K, Vitamin E, Amniotic Fluid, Glycerine, Silicone Oil
Application Method:
Phase I - In the salon with removal at home (8 to 12 hours):
Following a deep cleansing with the oil-removing solution, apply cosmelan 1, which has a powerful depigmenting effect due to its high concentration of active ingredients. The product should be applied by the professional, who will establish the application time in each case. After the recommended time, the patient should remove the mask at home.
Instructions for use: Apply the 10 g of the cosmelan mask and allow it to act using your professional judgment for 8-12 hours according to the indications on the technical table shown the pack.
Removal of the mask at home: rinse carefully with plenty of lukewarm water. In case of erythema, tightness or a sensation of dryness, we recommend applying a layer of hydra-vital factor k, allowing it to act for 10-15 minutes.
Phase II - At home (Month 1):
48 hours after removing the cosmelan 1 mask, it is necessary to continue with the daily depigmentation routine to guarantee the efficacy of the treatment.
Instructions for use: Apply cosmelan 2 three times a day (morning, midday and night), followed by hydra-vital factor k and sun protection SPF 50+ after daytime applications. In the case of extreme sensitivity, consider spacing out the applications of cosmelan 2, without abandoning the treatment altogether.
Phase III - At home (Months 2-3):
At this point, it is important to treat the root cause of the blemish by regulating overproduction of melanin through constant regulation of the melanocyte.
Instructions for use: Apply cosmelan 2 morning and night, followed by hydra-vital factor k, and sun protection SPF 50+ during the day. In case of sun exposure, reapply UV protection.
Phase V - At home (Months 4-6):
During the control phase, the treatment prevents the reappearance of the treated spots and the formation of new ones, for a longer-lasting result.
Instructions for use: Apply cosmelan 2 at night, followed by hydra-vital factor k. During the day, apply sunblock and reapply in cases of direct sun exposure.
