- Manufacture of the Junto Collection is subject to an extremely elaborate production process.  All items are made with natural raw materials, and the glazing process, in particular, lends the collection it's own distinctive style.
- The porcelain glazing for Junto is a special development by Rosenthal.  Instead of transparent glazing, all items are fired with colorful glazing which lends them their extraordinary color.  Depending on the thickness of the layer, the colored glazing lets the white porcelain shards shine through more or less strongly.  This is how many different effects are created in the fired product's appearance.
- Based on this glazing technique, the signature Junto hand glazed character is created, an intended crafted look with unique color gradients, which is not a flaw in the product.
